There was a single gas station in cities across Ellis County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.94 per gallon in the week ending Aug. 17, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Ellis County was $3.02 per gallon.

Of the 22 reported gas stations in cities within Ellis County, four offer regular gas.

The average reported price of regular gas in Kansas was $3.13, compared to $3.15 the week before.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
