The Phillips Co Genealogical Society will meet at 7pm in the Phillipsburg City Library on Monday July 11th. If you are interested in starting work on your family tree, there are forms that will help get you started. A microfilm reader and printer are available in the Genealogy Room at the library for anyone to use for viewing Phillips Co newspapers dating back to 1878. The films cover Agra, Glade (Marvin), Kirwin, Logan, Long Island, Phillipsburg, Prairie View, Speed (Big Bend), and Woodruff papers. There are many publications of local and surrounding towns and counties, lots of family histories, and obits. Guests are welcome and they try to help beginners get started.
