Wrestling Sends Seven to Nationals
Seven Colby Community College wrestlers qualified for the national tournament after competing in the NJCAA West-Central District Championships hosted by Neosho County Community College on Feb. 11. As a team, the Trojans finished 7th.
"We are extremely proud of these boys," said Trojans Head Coach CJ Shavers. "They wrestled hard, and it showed."
The NJCAA National Wrestling Championships are on March 3 and 4 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

125: Tyler Fields, 6th.
133: Quentin Pauda, wild card.
141: Zane Lucksavage 6th.
149: Eric Cain, 4th.
165: Cael Langford, 5th.
174: Mark Rausch, 3rd (two-time qualifier).
184: Brandon Knoles, 6th.
