Later that evening, Moran congratulated Don Bergin on his new role within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). On September 18 he wrote: "Congratulations to Don Bergin on his confirmation to be Assistant Secretary of Congressional and Legislative Affairs at @DeptVetAffairs. The SUPPORT Act referenced by Moran aims to enhance federal programs addressing substance use disorders and related conditions such as FASD through expanded education initiatives and preventive measures.
