Diercks KJCCC Athlete of the Week
February continues to be a good month for the Colby Community College track and field team after another Trojan runner was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Athlete of the Week. This time, it was Emily Diercks.
In Topeka last weekend, Diercks posted a time of 5:06.27 in the one-mile run at Washburn University's Ichabod Invitational. The Hoxie sophomore currently owns the NJCAA's best time in the event.
The Trojans are preparing for the Region VI Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday in Pittsburg.
