On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Hays High School standout Josh Zapata’s current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, lost 12-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the St. Edward's Hilltoppers.

The game took place at Lucian-Hamilton Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Hilltoppers this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 12 p.m. at Wilder Park against Southwest Mustangs.
