Senator Jerry Moran, a U.S. Senator from Kansas, posted a series of statements on his official X (formerly Twitter) account addressing recent events and commemorations.

On September 10, 2025, Moran commented on the death of Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative activist. He wrote: "Charlie Kirk was a father, husband, son and a voice for young conservatives. He was a man of faith who deeply loved his country. His murder is an appalling act of violence, and I am heartbroken for his wife, children and loved ones. Please pray for the Kirk family and our".

The following day, September 11, 2025, Moran marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks with a post stating: "24 years ago, America faced the deadliest terrorist attack in our nation's history. Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 Americans who were killed and honor the brave heroes who saved lives on 9/11 and defended our nation against terrorism in the years that followed. Later on September 11, Moran expressed gratitude to former President Donald Trump for federal disaster relief assistance in Kansas: "Thank you, President Trump, for granting a disaster declaration to help Kansas recover and rebuild. https://t.co/OAjXoEMIJJ".

Senator Moran has served as one of Kansas's U.S. Senators since 2011. His public remarks often address both national tragedies—such as the annual remembrance of September 11—and issues affecting his home state such as disaster recovery efforts.
