Senator Jerry Moran, representing Kansas in the U.S. Senate, shared updates on his recent activities and recognitions through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) between September 21 and 22, 2025.

On September 21, Senator Moran described his visits to healthcare facilities as part of an ongoing initiative: "Continued my Kansas hospital tour yesterday with visits to AdventHealth in Ottawa & Mercy Hospital in Columbus. It was great to tour both the facilities and talk with staff about their ongoing efforts to provide top quality care for Kansans. We also discussed the Rural Health". These tours are part of his continued engagement with rural healthcare providers, focusing on challenges faced by hospitals outside urban centers.

The following day, Moran addressed Jewish communities in Kansas and globally with a message marking Rosh Hashanah: "Shana Tova to all the Jewish communities in Kansas and across the world celebrating Rosh Hashanah over the coming days. May the new year bring peace and prosperity." The greeting reflects ongoing efforts by public officials to acknowledge diverse religious observances within their constituencies.

Later on September 22, Senator Moran referenced an award from Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), noting its connection to another prominent Kansan: ".@PVA1946's Congressional Leadership Award was first presented to my fellow Kansan, Sen. Bob Dole, & I am grateful to continue his work to support our veterans. Thank you to PVA for this recognition, & I look forward to working together to support disabled veterans." The Congressional Leadership Award is given by PVA, an advocacy organization supporting veterans with spinal cord injuries or diseases. Senator Bob Dole—also from Kansas—was known for championing veteran causes throughout his career.

Senator Moran has long prioritized issues such as rural health care access and veteran services during his tenure in Congress.
