Senator Jerry Moran, a U.S. Senator from Kansas and ranking member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, shared updates on his recent activities and legislative developments through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On September 22, 2025, Moran highlighted his visit with Commander Dale Wiley at an American Legion post in Topeka. He wrote: "Joined Commander Dale Wiley at American Legion Post 400 in Topeka this morning. KS veteran Dale Wiley was elected as the American Legion Commander in August & is traveling across the country to meet with district commanders & discuss the issues facing our veterans. The following day, September 23, Moran announced progress on veteran support initiatives: "NEW: @DeptVetAffairs is moving forward with implementing this important provision of the Sen.
