Colby Community College offers area adults a wide range of programs if they need to make changes to improve their lives. If they dropped out of high school before graduation, they can prepare for the GED exams. If they struggle financially, they can take a money management course based on Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. If they need to learn English, they can take evening classes in English Language Acquisition (ELA). These are just three of the many programs available.
How can the community support those seeking to improve the lives of themselves and their families? All are invited to come hear staff members of the CCC Adult Education and Career Preparation program explain ways the community can help. For example, GED students must pay $142 to take the four GED exams, and the community might donate to pay some of those costs for students on a tight budget.
