U.S. Senators Jerry Moran and Jeanne Shaheen are leading a bipartisan congressional delegation to the Paris Air Show, scheduled from June 16 to June 22. The event will feature aerospace and defense manufacturers from Kansas, New Hampshire, and across the United States. Since 2023, Senators Moran and Shaheen have led similar delegations to both the Paris and Farnborough air shows.

Senator Moran emphasized the importance of showcasing U.S. leadership in aerospace and defense industries at the event. "The United States is the leader in aircraft manufacturing with many of the planes and parts passing through the Air Capital of the World," he stated. He also highlighted last year's significant representation from Kansas at the Farnborough Air Show and expressed his anticipation for surpassing those numbers this year.

Senator Shaheen noted that "The Paris Air Show is the world’s largest, and it marks an exciting opportunity for businesses across New Hampshire and New England to showcase their innovative capabilities on a global stage." She stressed New Hampshire's role in strengthening national security amid rising threats from countries like China and Russia.

Joining Senators Moran and Shaheen are several other U.S. Senators including Roger Wicker, Deb Fischer, Gary Peters, John Kennedy, Catherine Cortez Masto, Jacky Rosen, Peter Welch, Ted Budd, and Katie Britt. Lawmakers from the House of Representatives will also participate in the defense forum during this event.
