The International Air Show has brought together stakeholders from the aviation, defense, and space industries worldwide to highlight recent innovations and foster international cooperation. A bipartisan group of senators attended the event to acknowledge the United States' leadership in aerospace and defense sectors. The capabilities of the Kansas workforce were prominently featured at this year's show.

This year marked a record attendance for Kansans, with the largest-ever delegation led to the air show, surpassing previous years' numbers. This effort was aimed at promoting Kansas as the "Air Capital of the World" on an international stage.

An event hosted by a senator and the Greater Wichita Partnership gathered over 500 leaders from various sectors, including industry, government, academia, and Kansas. The event underscored Kansas’ significant role in national aviation, defense, and space industries. Key attendees included Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and leaders from the FAA, Department of Defense, and Department of Commerce.
