On July 28, 2025, Senator Moran emphasized the importance of keeping U.S. airspace infrastructure up to date with industry growth. He stated, "Air travel hit records high in the U.S. last year, and it’s critical that our extensive air space keeps pace with the growth in the aviation and travel industries. The Reconciliation Bill makes critical investments in modernizing the FAA and air traffic control, promoting safety".

Later that day, he commented on a new trade agreement involving aircraft manufacturing. On July 28, 2025, he posted: "GOOD NEWS: President Trump's EU trade deal eliminates tariffs on aircraft and plane parts and upholds the 1979 Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft, bringing economic certainty to the aviation industry in Wichita - the Air Capital of the World."

The following day, July 29, 2025, Senator Moran expressed support for military personnel from Kansas preparing for deployment. He wrote: "More than 3,500 soldiers from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team at @FortRiley are preparing for a rotational deployment to Europe.
