Senator Jerry Moran, who represents Kansas in the U.S. Senate, recently used his social media account to highlight meetings and visits with agricultural organizations and local leaders in Kansas.

On August 11, 2025, Moran posted about his visit to Rice County: "Today, I visited Rice County and met with local leaders at both the Rice County Commissioners meeting and the Sterling Rotary Club. I appreciated hearing updates from the Rice County EMS and the Rice County Health Department regarding their efforts to keep Kansans safe."

The following day, on August 12, 2025, he shared details of another stop in Sterling: "Enjoyed visiting @midkscoop while in Sterling yesterday. MKC is a full-service, farmer-owned cooperative serving ag producers in KS & surrounding states. I toured their facility and learned more about the sustainable practices MKC uses to provide supplies & services for grain,"

Later that same day, Moran tweeted about a visit to Jewell Implement: "Great to visit Jewell Implement in North Central Kansas today to learn more about their work to support the agricultural community by providing new and pre-owned agricultural equipment, including tractors and lawn equipment. Thank you to their team for having me!"

Senator Moran's activities reflect ongoing engagement with rural communities and agricultural stakeholders across Kansas. His meetings with county officials and farm cooperatives align with his longstanding advocacy for agriculture—a key sector in Kansas' economy—and rural health initiatives as part of his legislative priorities.
