Senator Jerry Moran, representing Kansas in the U.S. Senate, recently shared updates on his official X account regarding legislative and community initiatives.

On September 4, 2025, Senator Moran announced the introduction of a resolution with Senator Roger Marshall to honor a local law enforcement officer. As stated in his post: @RogerMarshallMD & I introduced a resolution honoring Officer Simoncic’s life of integrity, courage and service to his community.

The following day, September 5, 2025, Senator Moran reported on his ongoing tour of Kansas hospitals. He wrote: This morning, I continued my Kansas hospital tour with a visit to the brand new Freeman Hospital in Fort Scott. The facility opened yesterday with a six-bed emergency department & 10-bed acute care hospital. Thank you @FreemanCares4U for investing in the well-being of the Fort.

On September 6, 2025, Moran participated in an event marking progress in public safety infrastructure. He posted: Today, I joined @pittstate & the Kansas Bureau of Investigation for the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art crime center & laboratory. This facility willincrease resources and capabilities for law enforcement across KS & prepare the next generation of criminal justice.

Senator Moran has been active in supporting healthcare access and public safety improvements throughout Kansas. His efforts include recognizing individuals who have served their communities and advocating for investment in critical infrastructure such as hospitals and law enforcement facilities.
